Information Event at the Academic Library

An information event for faculty members of the Higher College of L.N. Gumilyov ENU was held at the Academic Library under the title «Library and Teacher: Partnership in the Educational Space. »

The Director of the Academic Library, Orazaliyev Bakytzhan Assetildauly, noted that the main purpose of the event was to familiarize teachers with the key areas of the library’s activities, the available information resources, and the possibilities for their effective use in the educational process. He also provided a detailed overview of the work being carried out by the library. In addition, he highlighted the library’s priority areas, such as providing students and teachers with educational and information resources, as well as expanding access to electronic databases through the use of modern technologies.

Malikov Kuanyshbek Turarbekovich, Director of the Higher College, emphasized the important role of the Academic Library in the implementation of lifelong learning and expressed his readiness to actively participate in initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation between the college and the library.

During the event, participants were presented with detailed information about the library’s electronic resources and databases, and an overview of the activities and opportunities of the American Corner and Maker Space center was conducted.

Faculty members of the Higher College visited specially organized book exhibitions entitled «New Books», «Works of ENU Scholars», «Rare Books and Manuscripts», and «Books in Braille». In addition, they became acquainted with equipment designed for students with special educational needs and toured the library’s reading rooms.
