
An Educational and Methodological Seminar “Methods of Artistic Education through the History of Kazakh Fine Arts” Was Held

On December 30, 2025, Associate Professor of the Department of Design and Engineering Graphics, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences S.Zh. Turikpenova conducted an interactive educational and methodological seminar for the faculty members of the department. The seminar was organized based on the researcher’s scientific work.
The topic of the seminar was “Methods of Artistic Education through the History of Kazakh Fine Arts.” The main objective of the event was to identify effective ways of utilizing the historical and cultural potential of Kazakh fine arts in the educational process, as well as to introduce modern methods of artistic education into teaching practice.
The seminar was attended by the department’s faculty members, including PhD Zh.T. Omarova; Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor E.S. Asylkhanov; Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor T.K. Samuratova; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor B.N. Nurmakhanov; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor A.K. Baidabekov; Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor S.M. Bazarbaeva; Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor U.K. Dzhanakhmetov; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor T.Kh. Aliev; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Zh.M. Sadykova; Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor B.T. Nurmukhambetova, as well as young researchers.
During the seminar, various methods and approaches aimed at developing students’ national worldview, cultural memory, and creative thinking through the study of the history of Kazakh fine arts were comprehensively discussed. Participants emphasized the effectiveness of using interactive, visual, practical, and digital resources and reviewed the modules and content of the elective course “National Graphic Design,” developed on the basis of Kazakh fine arts.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants exchanged professional experience and put forward concrete proposals aimed at improving the process of artistic education.
