“The Power of the Pencil” — the First Creative Exhibition of First-Year Students

From December 18 to 23, 2025, a creative exhibition of works by first-year students of the educational programs 6B02120 “Graphic Design” and 6B02121 “Architectural Design” was held. The works were created within the courses “Academic Drawing” and “Professional Drawing.”

The exhibition was organized by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor S. Zh. Turikpenova.

More than 70 works by 35 students were displayed at the exhibition. The collection included classroom assignments, independent student works, sketches, exploratory drafts, and homework. In line with the title “The Power of the Pencil,” all works were executed using black pencil techniques.

The exhibition aimed to showcase students’ professional skills and creative abilities. The participants successfully demonstrated a high level of artistic thinking and creative potential.
