In January 2026, a pedagogical skills workshop for young lecturers was held at the Department of Oriental Studies of the Faculty of International Relations. The workshop was conducted by Associate Professor of the Department of Oriental Studies, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Aiman Makhssotovna Azmukhanova.
The theme of the workshop was “The Effectiveness of New Methods in Training Specialists in Oriental Studies.” Members of the faculty and teaching staff took part in the event.
The workshop opened with a welcoming address by the Head of the Department of Oriental Studies, Gulnara Userbaevna Birimkulova. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of developing pedagogical skills and highlighted the value of such platforms for experience sharing among young lecturers.
In her presentation, Aiman Makhssotovna analyzed the limitations of the classical teaching model in the training of specialists in Oriental Studies and presented relevant and insightful information on the advantages and effectiveness of modern teaching methods that meet contemporary educational demands. The materials presented were highly appreciated by the participants and recognized as practical and valuable.
The workshop concluded with a question-and-answer session and an exchange of views, during which participants shared their opinions and professional experiences.
