
A meeting was held on the topic “BIM Technologies for Optimizing Educational Processes: from Student Design to State Expertise Requirements”

On January 28, an educational meeting was organized for 3rd–4th year students of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, dedicated to current issues of implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technologies in the construction industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main goal of the event was to reduce the gap between academic training of future specialists and the practical requirements of state expertise bodies, as well as to explain effective ways of integrating BIM technologies into design practice.

During the meeting, methodological aspects of creating digital models, common mistakes in passing state expertise, and prospects for digitalization of design activities were discussed.
Students received answers to their key questions and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of BIM technologies in their future professional careers.
Such meetings enhance students’ practical knowledge and help them adapt to the modern requirements of the construction industry.
