From history to the future: an art design piece dedicated to ENU’s 30th anniversary

In honor of the 30th anniversary of The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, there was presented a triptych-style artwork titled "The Kazakh Country is an Eternal Country: History, Science, Education, Culture".
The author of the work is a well-known cultural figure of Kazakhstan, professor of the Design and Engineering Graphics Department Yermek Asylkhanov. He is a scientist who, from the moment the concept was developed to its full completion, led the creation of the Gumilyov Museum at the Eurasian National University.
According to the author, a triptych is a form of visual art that combines three paintings with a common theme, plot, or composition. The first part of the work created for the university is devoted to the history of the Kazakh people, the second reflects the development of science and education. It artistically presents data on the 160th anniversary of the school's opening, the 105th anniversary of the institute's founding, and the 30th anniversary of The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The third composition is aimed at understanding the present and the future.
"The thought of what kind of mark I could leave on the Eurasian National University has been bothering me for a long time. It was this question that led me to the idea of revealing the essence of the university as an integral part of Kazakh history, science, education and culture. Therefore, every creative decision was aimed at the artistic expression of these values," Professor Yermek Asylkhanov said.
The artist-designer also stressed that he presented this work as a gift to the Eurasian National University as a sign of respect and gratitude.
