
More than 30 ENU Developments Presented for Implementation in the Arshaly District of Akmola Region

Within the framework of activities aimed at the commercialization of the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities, the implementation of researchers’ developments at ENU, patent sales, the development of research services, and attracting investment, a meeting was held between the Department of Innovation Development and the Department of Asset Management and Investment Attraction with representatives of the Akmola Region Arshalyn District Akimat and the regional branch of the “Amanat” party.
During the meeting, more than 30 projects with commercialization potential in the fields of ecology, agriculture, energy, logistics, digitalization, road and civil construction, and others were presented, intended for demonstration to enterprises located in the Industrial Zone of the district.
During the discussion, the representatives of the Akimat expressed interest in developments aimed at addressing issues of floods, groundwater, air purification from industrial pollution, improving road quality, and construction materials, given their interest in developing the construction and road sectors. They were presented with a portfolio of intellectual property of ENU researchers, which is currently relevant in the mentioned areas and in demand for market implementation. In addition, the ENU Engineering Center, equipped with high-precision instruments for providing services to the market, was presented.
As a result of the meeting, representatives of the Arshalyn District Akimat and the regional branch of the “Amanat” party expressed their agreement on developing regional–science–business interaction, the participation of ENU representatives in meetings with enterprises, and supporting the implementation of ENU researchers’ developments.
Additionally, ENU representatives met with the management of the “Arshpal” LLP plant for the production of reinforced concrete products and sleepers, where patents on construction materials aimed at improving product quality were presented.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed interest in collaboration and plan to conduct pilot testing of technologies in production.
