If you can play, you can think

On February 11, 2026, second-year students of the Educational Program “International Relations” (group B140-3102-24-02), under the supervision of Candidate of Historical Sciences and Acting Professor of the Department of International Relations G.E. Ibragimova, conducted a business simulation game. Within the framework of the game, negotiations between the Kazakh agroholding “Olzha Agro” and the Saudi sovereign wealth fund were modeled.
The students successfully revealed the subject of negotiations, “Long-term supply of organic wheat and investment in infrastructure,” at various stages of the negotiation process.
Among the strengths of the business simulation were the realism of the scenario, the comprehensive nature of the negotiation subject, the application of various strategies by the students, and a high level of analytical work.
Through the use of such active learning methods, students develop analytical, negotiation, and managerial skills, strategic thinking, communicative competencies, personal qualities, and other essential abilities.
