ENU Faculty Members Awarded the Title “Best University Teacher – 2025”

In Almaty, at the building of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a ceremonial event was held to honor the recipients of the national title “Best University Teacher – 2025.” Several faculty members of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University were awarded this prestigious distinction. The award is presented in recognition of excellence in teaching, outstanding research publications, and significant achievements in educational and methodological work. This year, the following members of the Institute of Physics and Technology were recognized: Amangeldi Nurlan — Associate Professor, Department of Nuclear Physics, New Materials and Technologies; Gulnara Aralbayeva, PhD — Associate Professor, Department of Technical Physics; Erlan Myrzakulov, PhD — Associate Professor, Department of General and Theoretical Physics; Aliya Zhadyrova, PhD — Acting Associate Professor, Department of General and Theoretical Physics; Aziza Altaybayeva, PhD — Acting Associate Professor, Department of General and Theoretical Physics. The awards were presented by Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Akhylbek Kurishbayev, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and Gulzat Kobenova, Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education. In his address, Minister Sayasat Nurbek emphasized that the award not only recognizes the outstanding contributions of faculty members and researchers, but also reflects the dynamic development of science and higher education in the country. The staff of the Institute of Physics and Technology sincerely congratulate their colleagues on this distinguished achievement and wish them continued professional success, new scientific breakthroughs, and further creative accomplishments.
