Hydrology Students Met with Representatives of “Kazvodkhoz”

A meeting was held at the Department of Physical and Economic Geography of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University between students of the “Hydrology” educational program and representatives of the Akmola branch of the state enterprise “Kazvodkhoz,” led by Deputy Director Abdiakamit Dauren Bayakhmetuly.

During the meeting, the guests discussed the key tasks facing water management specialists, current challenges in water resource management, and possible solutions. A presentation was delivered outlining the activities of “Kazvodkhoz,” its ongoing projects, and operational directions.

Students actively engaged in the discussion, asking questions about practical training opportunities, career prospects, and employment possibilities in the field of hydrology and hydraulic engineering.

The meeting contributed to strengthening cooperation between the university and industry organizations and supported the professional development of future water management specialists.
