The best in science and education

On February 13, 2026, a ceremony was held in Almaty to honor scientists and university professors who have made significant contributions to the development of national science and the higher education system.

Among the winners, a well-deserved place was taken by Zabiyeva Aliya Batybekovna, Associate Professor of the Department of Transport Engineering, Candidate of Technical Sciences.

The awards were solemnly presented by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek, the President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akylbek Kurishbayev, and the Vice-Minister of Science and Higher Education Gulzat Kobenova.

Speaking at the ceremony, Sayasat Nurbek congratulated the winners and emphasized that the award is not only a personal achievement of the scientists but also a confirmation of the high level of development of science and education in Kazakhstan, noting the importance of the contribution of each teacher and researcher to the development of the country.
