ENU took part in the educational exhibition of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan

From October 10 to 12, 2023, in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, the Center for International Programs “Bolashak” held the Days of Education of Kazakhstan at the international exhibition "Healthcare, Education and Sports in the Era of the Revival of a powerful state".

Six Kazakhstani universities, namely L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Arkalyk Pedagogical Institute named after Y. Altynsarin, Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai, Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after Alkey Margulan and South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov took part in the exhibition. Representatives of Kazakh universities spoke about the advantages of Kazakh education and opportunities for studying in higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, as well as details about bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree programs in educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. L.N. Gumilyov ENU was represented by a senior specialist of the Department of International Cooperation Shalkhybaev Aitkurman Baigurmanovich.

It is necessary to note the great interest of Turkmen youth in studying in Kazakhstan, especially in pedagogical specialties.  In the 2023-2024 academic year, more than 500 citizens of Turkmenistan applied for admission to ENU, but only 240 applicants were interviewed and enrolled in bachelor's degree programs.
