
Mentoring Session on Tuberculosis Awareness and Prevention

On February 17, 2026, a mentoring session was held for group 24-12 (Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages) on the topic “Tuberculosis — a socially significant disease.”
During the session, students learned about the main types of tuberculosis, routes of infection transmission, symptoms of the disease, and modern prevention methods. Special attention was given to early detection and the importance of preserving public health.
The session featured a guest specialist, medical professional Aigerim Serikovna Shaminova from Astana Clinic, who discussed practical aspects of disease prevention and the importance of taking personal health responsibility. Students showed active interest in the topic and participated in the discussion, emphasizing the importance of medical literacy.
