Volleyball Tournament of Students and Alumni Dedicated to ENU’s 30th Anniversary

On February 15, a volleyball tournament was held at the “Eurasia” Sports Complex as part of the 30th anniversary celebration of Л.Н. Гумилев атындағы Еуразия ұлттық университеті. The competition brought together students of the Higher School of Education, students of the Kazakhstan branch of МГИМО, and alumni of the Higher School.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Director of the Higher School B.Zh. Somzhurek, Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports A.Zh. Saliyeva, Deputy Director for Student Affairs A.B. Meirman, as well as senior lecturers E.K. Ibraev, A. Alikey, and R. Mamyrkulov. They wished the participants success and highlighted the significance of the anniversary tournament.

The event became a vibrant part of the jubilee celebrations, aimed at strengthening student unity, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and enhancing the university’s corporate spirit.

According to the results of the matches:
1st place — 4th-year students majoring in Physical Culture and Sports;
2nd place — the team of 2022 alumni;
3rd place — 3rd-year students majoring in Physical Culture and Sports.

The winners and prize holders were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts.
