Preventing Religious Extremism and Terrorism among Youth

On 20 February 2026 , the Department of “ Transport Organization, Traffic and Vehicle Operation” at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted a meeting with first-year students of the B095-11302-25-03 Logistics group and theologian Oner Ermekuly. Meeting Topic: “Preventing Religious Extremism and Terrorism among Youth. The group’s curator, Albina Yermukhanova, also attended the event. During the lecture, students were introduced to preventive measures, while the causes and consequences of religious extremism and terrorism were thoroughly discussed. The youth actively asked questions and received comprehensive answers. This session enhanced students’ religious literacy and emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and harmony in society.
