The main subject of discussion at the seminar was the Mausoleum of Aiteke Bi – a significant architectural monument associated with the name of the outstanding statesman and thinker Aiteke Bi. Professor Chekayeva Rakhima Usmanovna noted that the structure reflects the traditions of Kazakh memorial architecture, combining elements of monumentality, symbolism, and regional construction techniques. It was also emphasized that the mausoleum was built with the support of his descendants, well-known political figures and representatives of the Kazakh diaspora.
During the seminar, the structural and decorative features of the building were examined, as well as issues related to preserving the monument’s authenticity and applying modern restoration methods.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of studying national architectural monuments within the educational process was highlighted, along with the need to continue research aimed at preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.
