Protection of Women's Rights: An Important Meeting at the University

At the initiative of Gulmira Sovetgaliyevna Makasheva, Deputy Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences for Student Affairs, an event in the form of a meeting titled 'Personal Inviolability: Legal Protection of Women in Modern Society' was held within the framework of the theme 'Respect for Women – an Indicator of Society's Development Level'. The meeting was attended by Nelya Lukpanovna Shapekova, Ombudsman of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, and Gaukhar Kargabayevna Tazhkenova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences for Academic Affairs. During the meeting, the legal status of women, personal inviolability, safety, and legal guarantees for women were discussed. Students exchanged views on the importance of protecting women's rights in society and received answers to their pressing questions. The event was aimed at increasing the legal literacy of young people and fostering a culture of respect for human rights.
