"Respect for Women – An Indicator of the Legal and Social Maturity of Society"

An educational and awareness-raising event titled "Respect for Women – An Indicator of the Legal and Social Maturity of Society" was held at the Department of General Biology and Genomics for first-year Master’s students of the "M014 – Training of Biology Teachers" educational program. The event was organized and conducted by Zh.P. Sembayeva.

During the meeting, an informative presentation was delivered regarding the role of women in society, their legal status, and social significance. It was explained in detail that respect for women is not only a family value but also a crucial indicator of a state's legal development and the social maturity of society. Master's students were provided with specific examples concerning the protection of women's rights, principles of gender equality, and social support for motherhood and childhood. Furthermore, the discussion touched upon pressing issues of modern society, such as domestic violence, gender inequality, and social stereotypes.

In the course of the discussion, the students actively shared their views, emphasizing that raising the status of women is both a professional and civic duty for future educators. According to the students, respect for women is not merely a reflection of an individual’s personal culture but an indicator of the moral standards of society as a whole. It was particularly noted that in the process of educating the younger generation, teachers must promote the values of gender equality and mutual respect.
The event made a profound impression on the participants. They noted that respecting and protecting the rights of women is the duty of every conscious citizen. Such initiatives contribute to enhancing the legal culture of young people and the formation of social responsibility.
