Department of Civil Engineering Associate Professor L.M. Utepbergenova conducted an open class for group M127-7352-25-01 in the discipline “Features of Water Supply for Industrial Enterprises”

According to the approved schedule of open classes, on February 26, 2026, at the Department of Construction of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Associate Professor Utepbergenova Laura Mukhtarovna conducted an open class for group M127-7352-25-01 in the discipline “Features of Water Supply for Industrial Enterprises” on the topic “Water Softening Processes.”
The purpose of the class was to develop in master’s students in-depth knowledge of the physicochemical principles of water softening technologies used in industrial water supply systems.
During the session, master’s students examined the causes of water hardness formation, reagent and ion-exchange softening methods, technological schemes of water treatment plants, principles of equipment calculation, and regulatory requirements for industrial water quality. Modern approaches to water treatment organization and their practical application in industrial facilities were discussed.
The session included theoretical analysis, consideration of technological schemes, discussion of calculation examples, and professional exchange of opinions.
