A festive event dedicated to International Women's Day was held at ENU

A gala event dedicated to the International Women's Day was held at The L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. A festive event dedicated to the spring holiday was organized for female teachers, university staff and students.

Rector of the University Yerlan Sydykov congratulated the beautiful half of the university on March 8 and emphasized their important role in society, as well as in the development of education and science.

"March 8 is a bright spring holiday, a symbol of kindness and mercy. I sincerely congratulate all mothers and beautiful women on this spring holiday! I wish you good health, well-being to your families, happiness and prosperity, and creative success. The women working at our university make a huge contribution to the development of education and science, the upbringing of young people and the prosperity of society. Words of gratitude and respect for you cannot be fully expressed in words. Therefore, let's try to express them via a song," Rector said.

At Rector’s initiative, the men of the university performed the song "Ana Turaly zhyr", written to the poems of Gafu Kairbekov and the music of Shamshi Kaldayakov, thereby expressing special respect and appreciation for mothers and women.

The festive event was decorated with performances by Ulykpan Zholdasov, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Knight of the Order of "Kurmet", and Dosymzhan Tanatarov, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, pop singer, who presented the audience with vivid musical performances.

The university's creative teams also took part in the festive program. The vocal group "E Studio", an honoured figure of culture Tolegen Gabdrakhman, the winners of the university games "Zhaidarman" – ZHENU team, as well as a group of graduates of the TYNDA University presented their performances and created an atmosphere of real celebration.
