
The Department of Psychology held final conferences on industrial internships and a pre-graduation internship orientation conference











Professional internships for students in the Department of Psychology are organized in accordance with their educational programs.
In connection with the completion of the industrial internship for master's students in the 7M03113-Clinical Psychology program on February 21, 2026, the Department of Psychology held a final conference on February 27.
The purpose of the industrial internship for master's students is to consolidate professional competencies and acquire practical skills and professional experience. The main internship sites were the Astana Multidisciplinary Medical Center, Soul Clinic LLC, the Regional Mental Health Center State Enterprise under the Akmola Region Health Department, Karaganda Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 1, the Dara Kids Children's Correctional Center, and others.
The final conference was attended by Head of Department A.S. Mambetalina and internship supervisors from the department's faculty: A.S. Nuradinov, A.M. Aytysheva, G.K. Aikinbaeva, G.Kh. Ganiyeva, and M.M. Ryskulova.
On March 5, 2026, the final internship conference for fourth-year students of the educational program "6B03103-Psychology" was held.
The main objectives of the internship are:
- acquiring organizational and professional experience;
- acquiring corporate teamwork skills;
- mastering the skills of independently planning their activities and defining their professional role.
The internship sites included correctional, crisis, medical, and children's centers, schools, courts, and other organizations.
Employers highly praised the students' responsibility and initiative, noting their high level of professional training.
Members of the commission, as well as departmental internship supervisors G.K. Aikinbaeva, A.B. Valieva, G.Kh. Ganieva, N.S. Tlenchieva, and B.S. Tusupbekova, participated in the graduates' reports.
The results of the final conference showed that most students were proactive during their internship and effectively fulfilled their assigned responsibilities.
According to the academic calendar, pre-graduation internships begin on March 9th and will run through April 18th. In this regard, after the acceptance of the reports, an introductory conference was held, where the students were explained the goals and objectives of the pre-graduation internship, as well as the need to create schedules and report diaries in Smart-enu.
