Meeting with Students: Preventing Religious Extremism and Terrorism

On March 11, 2026 a meeting titled “Religious Extremism and Terrorism: A Threat to Society” was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The event was organized by the academic advisor of groups B018-1721-24-05 and B018-1721-24-07 D.B. Akynova with the participation of invited expert – theologian Öner Ermekuly. During the meeting, students were informed about preventive measures against religious extremism and terrorism, and the causes and consequences of these phenomena were discussed in detail. Students actively asked questions and received comprehensive answers from the invited expert. The meeting helped increase students’ awareness and highlighted the importance of maintaining peace and harmony in society.
