V. Gogol's novel "The Overcoat" in READ-X format: educational event at NIS

On March 5, in grades 10 "B" and 10 "D" of the NICHES of natural mathematics, an educational event READ-X on Russian literature was held on the theme "In the Footsteps of the Overcoat", dedicated to the novel by Nikolai Gogol. The event was prepared and conducted by the trainees of the RYAL-42 group — Aitbekova Ademi Nurtilekkyzy and Atabayeva Dilnar Dildarovna under the guidance of teachers of Russian language and literature Omarova Zhanar Bulatbekovna and Makhambetova Saule Kabdushevna.
The purpose of the event was to deepen understanding of the content of N. V.'s story. Gogol's "The Overcoat", comprehension of the image of Akaky Akakievich and his life tragedy, identification of the author's attitude to the hero, as well as the development of students' skills in analyzing literary text, argumentation and creative expression.
The event was held in an interactive form and included several stages. At the beginning of the lesson, the students were presented with an introductory part, during which the significance of the work was outlined and the relevance of the topic of the "little man" in literature and modern society was emphasized. Then the students answered theoretical questions related to the image of the main character and the symbolic meaning of the greatcoat in the story.
Next, the students took part in an interactive quiz, where the teams answered questions about the content of the work. The next stage was a video task using artificial intelligence elements, after which the students discussed what the image of Akaky Akakievich could be in the modern world.
Of particular interest was the creative part of the event — the staging of episodes from the story. The class was divided into three groups, each of which prepared a mini-scene based on a specific fragment of the work: "Leave me...", "The Theft of the overcoat" and "From a significant person". The students tried to convey the characters of the characters and preserve the meaning of the key scenes of the work.
At the end of the event, a reflection was held, during which the students shared their impressions and answered the question of why the story of Akaki Akakievich remains relevant in modern society. The event helped to develop the interest of schoolchildren in Russian literature, the formation of skills in analyzing literary texts and the ability to express their own position in a reasoned manner.
The head of the practice, Marzhan Yerkenovna Japanova, who was present at the event, summed up the work of the student interns and noted the high level of training of future teachers. In her speech, she stressed that the topic of the "little man" raised by Nikolai Gogol remains relevant for students of the 21st century, encouraging them to think about human dignity, compassion and social justice.
