Students of the Department of Foreign Philology are studying abroad, expanding their knowledge and experience.

Kasymzhanova Balausa and Aliyeva Dilnaz (3rd year, “Foreign Philology”) studied at Adam Mickiewicz University (Poznań, Poland). Igimbayeva Akerke (4th year, “Foreign Philology”) studied at University of Gdańsk. Bailova Ainur (3rd year, “Foreign Philology”) spent one semester at Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (Germany).
Academic mobility is not only about studying, but also about experiencing a new culture, a new environment, and gaining unforgettable experiences. The academic mobility program gave students the opportunity to challenge themselves in a new setting, broaden their horizons, and gain international experience. Studying at foreign universities became an important stage in their personal and professional development. They observed the European education system firsthand and gained insight into learning approaches, students’ level of responsibility, and their attitude toward independent work. In addition, the students met peers from different countries, made new friends, explored other cultures, and, in turn, introduced their home country — Kazakhstan — becoming part of a cultural exchange.
This experience not only enriched their academic knowledge but also helped them develop essential skills such as independence, adaptability, and the ability to communicate confidently in a new environment.
