
An international exhibition “Spiritual Heritage & Renaissance” was held at ENU











At L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, as part of the university’s 30th anniversary celebration, the Department of Design and Engineering Graphics of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction successfully hosted the international student competition-exhibition “Spiritual Heritage & Renaissance”.
The large-scale event aimed to develop students’ creative potential and to reinterpret national and global cultural heritage through the modern language of design. The exhibition became an effective platform for experience exchange and contributed to strengthening cultural dialogue and mutual understanding among participants from different countries.
The main goal of the event was to promote the spiritual and cultural heritage of the peoples of the world, increase young people’s interest in national values, and reinterpret them in a contemporary context.
The competition-exhibition was organized in four main areas:
ethno-design and modern interpretations of traditional art;
digital art, including VR/AR and AI-based projects;
eco-design and sustainable development concepts;
smart spaces and the architecture of the future (student project presentations in pitch format).
The opening ceremony was attended by distinguished guests who wished the participants success:
Ermek Assylkhanov - Professor of the Department of Design and Engineering Graphics, Chairman of the Eurasian Designers Union;
Kazangap Toleutay - Professor at Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulazhanov;
Seifolla Bodikov - Senior Lecturer at Karaganda Buketov University.
During the ceremony, the guests cut the ribbon and wished the participants creative success.
A total of 132 students took part in the exhibition, including participants from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, who joined online and presented their projects digitally.

Abai Myrzakhmetov Kokshetau University,
Kazakh University of Technology and Business named after K. Kulazhanov,
Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University,

Kazakh National University of Arts named after K. Baiseitova.
The submitted works demonstrated a high level of creativity and relevance. Based on the results of the competition, the best projects were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes.
