
UK's experience in issues of inclusion in higher education was discussed at ENU





On March 12, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., a meeting entitled “Inclusion in UK Higher Education: From the Perspectives of Students and Faculty” was held in the main building of L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The event was dedicated to issues of inclusivity in the higher education system of the United Kingdom.
The event was organized with the participation of the educational organization AZM Education.
Among the participants were B. B. Kashkhynbay, Director of the Department for Academic Affairs, B. B. Somzhurek, Director of the Higher School of Education, faculty members, as well as students of the Higher School of Education.
The speakers at the meeting were Alastair Milne and Zeynep Kacmaz Milne, Directors of AZM Education.
During the meeting, the participants discussed modern approaches to developing an inclusive educational environment, ensuring equal access to higher education, and the role of faculty members and university structures in supporting students with diverse educational needs. The speakers shared international experience and discussed successful practices of UK universities, as well as existing challenges in the field of inclusive education.
Holding such meetings promotes the exchange of international experience, the development of academic cooperation, and the implementation of best practices in inclusive education within the university environment.
