Akanova Aikerim Ibragimovna defended a dissertation for the degree of philosophy (PhD)

On February 26, 2026, the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University defended a dissertation for the degree of philosophy (PhD) by Akanova Aikerim Ibragimovna on the specialty "6D020500 – Philology" on the topic " Mythological vocabulary in the prose of Kazakh folklore". The dissertation was completed in the period from 2018 to 2021 at the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the L. N. Gumilev Eurasian National University. 

The purpose of the study is to conduct a linguo-folkloristic analysis of mythological vocabulary in folkloric prose and to identify its semantic groups and distinctive features. 

The domestic scientific supervisor is Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor in the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University Yespekova Lyazzat Aubakirovna, foreign scientific consultant, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication at Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University Yusupova Alfiya Shavketovna. 

According to the results of the voting, it was decided to award Akanova A.I. the degree of doctor of PhD in this profile of the training direction "8D023 – Languages and Literature" (specialties (“6D020500 – Philology”, “8D02305 – Philology”, “8D02314 – Literary Studies”, “6D021300 – Literary Studies”).
