
A round table discussion titled "Honesty is a Matter of Honor"

On March 27, 2026, the Department of Practical Kazakh Language hosted a round table discussion titled "Honesty is a Matter of Honor." The event was organized under the leadership of faculty members Zhadira Zhunisova and Satybaldy Berdibayev and took place in Room 335 of the Main Building, bringing together first-year students from the Faculty of Philology. Two moderators facilitated the session, introducing the main theme and providing an overview of the challenges posed by corruption. Students presented a series of slides and videos illustrating the vital importance of honesty in society, the detrimental effects of corruption and effective strategies for its prevention. In the second segment, the moderators summarized the discussion, emphasizing that honesty and justice are fundamental values for social progress and a sustainable future. During the third part, participants engaged in an open exchange of ideas, highlighting the vital role of ethical conduct in social life. To conclude the round table, Senior Lecturer S. Berdibayev and Acting Associate Professor Zh. A. Zhunisova (PhD in Philology) shared their final remarks. They expressed their opinion on the role of human honesty in the formation of social processes and emphasized that it is from honesty that integrity is born.
