ENU employees have received high awards

During the meeting of the Scientific Council of The Eurasian National University, a number of employees were awarded high state and departmental awards.

Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beisenbai, Vice-Rector for Quality Assurance and Internal Control Indira Rystina, Vice-Rector for Social and Infrastructural Development Lyazzat Tolegenkyzy, Director of the Social and Civic Development Department Zhambyl Tlep, Deputy Director of the Social and Civic Development Department Yerkebulan Nugymanov were awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan for their significant contribution to the qualitative preparation of the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the organization and holding of a republican referendum on its adoption, as well as active participation in a socio-political event important for the future of the country.

The badge "Honored Worker of Higher Education of Kazakhstan" was awarded to Academician of NAS TK, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Honorary Head of the General Biology and Genomics Department of The L.N. Gumilyov ENU Rakhmetkazy Bersimbai.

The badge "For Contribution to the Development of the Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan" was awarded to Botagoz Saparova, Professor of the Finance Department, Candidate of Economic Sciences, PhD.

Gulnar Merzadinova, Professor, practitioner of the Thermal Power Engineering Department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, was awarded the badge "For Merits in the Development of Science in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

Ulbolsyn Yessenbekova, Professor of the Media Communication and Public Relations Department, Candidate of Philological Sciences, was awarded the badge "For Merits in the Development of Science in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

A letter of appreciation from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded to Associate Professor of the Practical Kazakh Language Department, Candidate of Philological Sciences Sayagul Karybayeva and PhD, Acting Associate Professor of the Kazakh Linguistics Department Shynar Salikzhanova.

All the awards were presented to the ENU staff by the Chairman of the Management Board, Rector of the University Yerlan Sydykov.

During the meeting, Rector also congratulated the Dean of the Faculty of Law, member of the Scientific Council Bauyrzhan Smatlayev on his 65th birthday and presented him with the badge "Kultegin". Departmental awards were also presented to the hero of the day by Deputy of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Abzal Kuspan and Chairman of the public association of veterans of the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, General Adilkhan Asset.

In conclusion, the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences, recognized as the best among faculties, institutes and graduate schools based on the results of the Operational Plan-2025, was awarded the title of "Pride of Eurasia".
