A practical seminar on business process optimization was held at ENU

The Internal Control and Academic Compliance Office of the Quality Assurance Department of the Non-profit joint-stock company «L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University» held a seminar on the topic «Enhancing the digital competence of staff in the development and optimization of business processes».

During the seminar, participants were provided with a detailed explanation of the key stages of working with internal documents, including development, coordination, approval, updating, storage, and application. Special attention was given to the requirements established by the Internal Document Management Procedure.

Participants were introduced to the hierarchical structure of internal documents adopted within the Company, as well as the fundamentals of the business process approach in management. The seminar also featured demonstrations of business process flowcharts and modern digital platforms used for their design and optimization.

The practical part of the seminar included the development of business process diagrams reflecting all stages and sub-processes of functional activities. In an interactive format, the speaker demonstrated the development of a business process using the example of request handling procedures in the Help Desk system, allowing participants to visually reinforce the knowledge gained in practice.

The seminar became an important step toward improving staff qualifications, systematically enhancing business processes, and implementing modern digital tools in the University’s management practices.
