
Project Management: Practical Tools and Real Cases



The Institute of Continuing Education, in collaboration with the Project Office, successfully delivered the course «Project Management: a comprehensive training program, project documentation in practice – tools, templates, and case studie», designed to meet modern requirements for implementing a project-based approach in management and educational activities.
The course program was aimed at developing relevant competencies in project management among participants. Lecturer Irina Yanushkevich provided a detailed overview of the key stages of the project lifecycle - from initiation and planning to implementation, monitoring, and closure.
Special emphasis was placed on practical aspects of learning. Participants mastered tools for developing and managing project documentation and gained hands-on skills in managing projects within both university and external initiatives. An important component of the course was the exploration of effective cross-departmental collaboration in project implementation.
Participants highly appreciated the practical value of the course. Alina Uaisbayeva noted that the training became a valuable experience that allowed her to learn the basics of project activities from scratch. Anastasia Senkovskaya emphasized that the course provides a clear understanding of project management stages and the roles of each participant. Assiya Dosova highlighted that the knowledge gained helped her better understand the principles of planning, time control, and resource management.
Creating conditions for accessible and high-quality lifelong learning for people of all ages, developing cognitive abilities, building востребованные competencies, and improving quality of life remain key priorities of the Institute of Continuing Education.
