
The Department of State Audit of the Higher School of Economics and Tourism at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held a public defense of research practice reports by second-year master’s and doctoral students of the educational programs “7M04120 – State Audit” and “8D04121 – State Audit.”











On March 30, 2026, the Department of State Audit of the Higher School of Economics and Tourism at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held a public defense of research practice reports by second-year master’s and doctoral students of the educational programs “7M04120 – State Audit” and “8D04121 – State Audit.”
The research practice was conducted at LLP “Center for Research, Analysis, and Performance Evaluation,” the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee of Internal State Audit of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in state audit bodies and the Audit Commission of the city of Astana.
The purpose of the public defense was to summarize the results of the research practice and assess the achievements of students in their scientific research activities. During the event, the master’s and doctoral students presented the results of their research and substantiated the theoretical and practical significance of their findings.
The research practice reports were uploaded to the Smart.ENU system using the students’ electronic digital signatures and were approved by their scientific supervisors and the members of the commission.
The commission included:
– Saule Spataeva – Head of the Department, PhD, Chair of the Commission;
– Madina Serikova – PhD, Acting Professor, Commission Member;
– Bakytzhamal Zhumataeva – PhD, Associate Professor, Commission Member;
– Aliya Rakaeva – PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, Commission Member.
The commission members provided an objective evaluation of the quality of the submitted works, noting their relevance and practical significance.
As a result of the public defense, the students successfully presented their research practice reports and received recommendations for further development of their scientific research directions.
