The country’s top students gathered at ENU for the ‘Altyn Tülek’ Olympiad”

On April 3, the Republican stage of the “Altyn Tulek” Mathematics Olympiad was held within the walls of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The event was organized jointly with the Zerdeli Intellectual Development School, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Graduating students from the city of Astana demonstrated a level at which formal evaluation criteria become secondary: what truly matters is the depth of reasoning and the ability to perceive structure where it is not immediately visible.
While awaiting the results, participants had the opportunity to explore the university’s academic buildings and learn more about its educational programs from representatives of institutes, higher schools, and faculties.
The winners of the Olympiad are not merely holders of diplomas and commemorative prizes. The grand prize winner has already taken a confident step toward their future, becoming the recipient of a prestigious educational grant to AUES University—an opportunity that opens the door to great ideas, technologies, and achievements.
Participants who achieved the highest results in the January and March UNT were awarded trips to Dubai.
“Altyn Tulek” has once again proven that mathematics is not just a science. It is a way of thinking. It is the language of the future.
