Scientific Seminar on Improving the Energy Efficiency of the Heating System of the “Tumar” Educational and Health Center Building

On March 27, 2026, a scientific seminar organized by the Department of Thermal Power Engineering of the Transport and Energy Faculty was held in the main building of the university. The seminar was devoted to improving the energy efficiency of the heating system of the “Tumar” Educational and Health Center through the integrated use of renewable energy systems.
During the seminar, the results of scientific research on the modernization of heat and power supply systems of the “Tumar” Educational and Health Center were presented. The study considered the application of heat pump units, energy audit procedures, analysis of hydrogeological conditions of the area, and assessment of the economic efficiency of the project. The results showed that the use of solar power plants can cover up to 87% of the building’s electricity demand.
The seminar participants expressed great interest in the research and proposed to consider the climatic conditions and wind loads of Zerenda village, as well as the use of solar collectors for hot water supply and the updating of regulatory and technical documentation.
Following the seminar, the research work was recognized as relevant and practically significant, and the project was recommended for implementation. The importance of cooperation between the university and industrial and innovative companies in the field of energy saving, energy auditing, and implementation of modern energy technologies was also emphasized.
