Prioritizing Mental Health: Faculty of International Relations Hosts Psychological Support Session

Preventing drug abuse and supporting student mental health are top priorities for the university and the Faculty of International Relations. As part of this commitment, students from the Political Science program (group V040-3106-24-00) held a meeting with psychologist Aizhan Baimukhanova.
The session took place in an open, trusting, and supportive atmosphere. Students participated in psychological assessments and engaged with materials designed to help them understand their individual psychological profiles. Concluding the meeting, the group advisor, Professor R.M. Tashtemkhanova, and psychologist Aizhan Baimukhanova offered thoughtful guidance aimed at preventing impulsive decisions that could lead to tragic consequences.
They reminded the students that there is a constructive solution to almost every life challenge. Students were highly encouraged not to isolate themselves, but to seek help from loved ones, trusted friends, academic advisors, or professional psychologists when facing difficulties. This meeting, which combined psychological support with awareness of the dangers of addiction, plays a crucial role in fostering a healthy and supportive environment within the student community.
