Scientific and Technical Seminar on Raman Spectrometry at ENU

On 7 April 2026, a scientific and practical seminar on Raman spectrometry was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, led by Dr. Rajendra Prasad Joshi, founder and CEO of RI Instruments and Innovation India. The event was organized by the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences with the involvement of leading scientists from the Institute of Natural Sciences. During his visit, Dr. Joshi presented the Raman spectrometer – a high-tech product developed by RI Instruments. The seminar program included the following stages: a presentation of the technical specifications and functional capabilities of the new spectrometer; a master class on Raman spectroscopy methodology for staff and students; and technical training for personnel on practical skills for working with the device and software. The integration of this analytical equipment into the university's research activities aims to improve the accuracy of identifying chemical structures and the phase composition of materials. The participation of an interdisciplinary group of scientists from various institutes underscores the significance of implementing modern spectroscopy methods for conducting comprehensive fundamental and applied research in the fields of chemistry and solid-state physics.
