The course on topical issues of public and private law was conducted for the students of ENU’s Silver University

ENU’s Institute of Continuing Learning, together with the University's Faculty of Law, conducted a course on "Topical Issues of Public and Private Law" for students of the Silver University.
The lecturer of the course, Indira Saktaganova, highlighted current issues of the development of public and private law, their relationship, as well as current problems of law enforcement practice. During the classes, the students got acquainted with the key trends in the development of legislation and judicial practice, learned how to analyze legal conflicts and find ways to solve them. Special attention was paid to the issues of interaction between public and private law, their role in ensuring a balance between the interests of the individual and society in the context of modern digitalization.
The listeners shared their feedback.
"I learned a lot of interesting things during the course. Private law is based on equality of the parties, autonomy of the will and freedom of contract, whereas public law is based on inequality, where the state acts as the bearer of power. At the same time, these areas are not isolated, but complement each other, ensuring a balance of freedom and law and order," learner Shaida Kabykenova said.
Kulyaimash Mustafina expressed gratitude to ENU’s Institute of Continuing Learning for this course. According to her, the classes were very interesting, with an analysis of life situations and practical recommendations.
