A methodological seminar was held at the Faculty of Philology

On April 8, 2026, within the framework of the Science Decade and the activities of the School of Pedagogical Excellence, the faculty members of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language — Associate Professors Sh. K. Isakulova, A. K. Nurmakhanbetova, and Senior Lecturer A. T. Kozhayeva — conducted a methodological seminar on the topic «Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence Platforms in Teaching the Kazakh Language».

The event was attended by the deputy deans of the Faculty of Philology, members of the School of Pedagogical Excellence, and lecturers of the Department of Practical Kazakh Language. In his opening remarks, the Head of the Department, Kuandyk Sandybekuly Kulmanov, noted that in modern society human life is closely connected with computers, the Internet, and digital technologies. He also emphasized the growing importance of artificial intelligence, which has been developing rapidly in recent years, in the field of education. Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Philology for Research, Gulnaz Serikkyzy Kasbaeva, in turn, wished the seminar success.

Speaker A.K.Nurmakhanbetova elaborated on the role and relevance of artificial intelligence in modern digital science and provided information about domestic AI products. A.T.Kozhayeva presented an overview of globally recognized types of artificial intelligence and introduced the capabilities of various platforms. Sh. K. Isakulova demonstrated in practice AI tools that enable the comprehensive development of language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), and substantiated their effectiveness in teaching the Kazakh language with concrete examples.

During the seminar, participants asked questions and engaged in a comprehensive discussion of the topic.

At the end of the event, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Aisulu Keneskyzy Akisheva  highlighted the relevance of artificial intelligence at all levels of the education system and expressed gratitude to the speakers.
