
11 ENU educational programs are undergoing specialized accreditation by the Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education (CAAAE)















The university is hosting a visit by the External Expert Commission of the Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education (CAAAE) on April 8-9, 2026.
Visit is taking please within the framework of the specialized (re-)accreditation of 11 educational programs of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Transport and Energy, the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences, and the Graduate School of Economics and Tourism: 6B02120 - Graphic Design, 6B07314 - Urban Planning and Cadastre, 6B07118 - Electric Power Engineering, 6B07117/8D071117 - Thermal Power Engineering, 7M07121 - Green Energy Technologies, 7M06307 - Cryptology, 7M05308 - Medical Physics, 7M05309 - Radiation Safety, 8D07140 - Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology, 7M04125 - Management.
The CAAAE External Expert Commission included representatives of the international and domestic academic communities, employers, and students.
The Chairman of the Commission is Yuri Pak, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor at the A. Saginov Karaganda Technical University. The international expert is Aynagul Ubukeyeva, Head of the Quality, Internships, and Career Department at the K. Karasayev Bishkek State University.
The Kazakhstani members of the experts commission includes faculty members from leading Kazakhstani universities such as the S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University, the K. Satpayev Kazakh National Research Technical University, and the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and others:

- Almar Zhumabekov, PhD, Deputy Dean for Research, Toraigyrov University;
- Elena Feoktistova, PhD, Senior Lecturer, D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University (Ust-Kamenogorsk);
- Moldir Duisenbaeva, PhD, Head of the Department of Physics, Abylkas Saginov Karaganda Technical University (Karaganda);
- Bauyrzhan Iskakov, Candidate of Economic scince, Professor, Department of Business Administration, Turan-Astana University (Astana);
An important role in the external evaluation of educational programs is played by the participation of the employer - Talgat Zhakupov, Candidate of Technical Science, Project Manager at GREEN THERMAL ENERGY LLP, and as well as a representative of the student community, Rakhym Chalabayev, a 3rd-year student at Turan-Astana University (Astana).
The Coordinator of the expert group is Zhaksylyk Salkarayev, Director of External Relations and Strategic Development at the CAAAE.
According to the visit's program, meetings with the university's leadership, heads of departments, faculty deans, and department heads were held on the first day of the expert commission's work. The meetings addressed issues related to financial planning, management and quality assurance, the organization of the educational process and teaching methods, student support systems and educational work, research activities and international cooperation, and the implementation of educational programs. The experts also visited the faculties and departments implementing accredited educational programs and reviewed the university's internal regulations and other documents.
