From double degree to a new stage: ENU and Nanning Normal University open a joint institute in China

A new joint "Eurasian School of Science and Technology" institute, based on the academic standards of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU), has been officially inaugurated in Nanning, People's Republic of China. The institute operates on the campus of Nanning Normal University and offers dual-degree programmes in chemistry and biology, while ENU's Institute of Natural Sciences acts as the leading academic unit responsible for curriculum design, alignment of course content and provision of methodological support for teaching and assessment. The structure of degree programmes, syllabi and quality assurance procedures has been developed with the direct involvement of the ENU Institute of Natural Sciences in accordance with ENU's internal standards, enabling graduates to obtain diplomas from both L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and Nanning Normal University. The joint institute will serve as a platform for the international tracks of the Institute of Natural Sciences, promoting academic mobility, joint research projects and structured exchanges between young scholars from Kazakhstan and China in key areas of natural sciences within the broader "Belt and Road" framework.
