“International Dialogue: Exploring the Discursive Space: ‘Artificial Intelligence in Education’

On April 7, at the Department of Foreign Philology, DAAD lecturer from Zwickau University, Anja Lange, conducted an engaging and interactive pre-conference workshop titled “International Dialogue: Exploring the Discursive Space: ‘Artificial Intelligence in Education’”.
During the session, a comprehensive overview of modern artificial intelligence tools and their practical applications in the educational process was presented, along with concrete ways to enhance teaching and learning through AI. Participants also critically examined the opportunities and challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence and discussed its impact on education. The workshop included an open discussion for exchanging ideas, as well as a practical segment that allowed participants to test AI tools and methods in practice.
As a continuation of the workshop, participants worked in groups to analyze specific case studies and proposed methods for effectively integrating AI into the teaching process. Particular attention was given to the use of digital tools in language teaching, the development of students’ critical thinking, and the formation of individualized learning trajectories.
The event was organized at a high level and generated great interest among participants. At the end of the workshop, attendees shared their feedback and emphasized the importance of such practice-oriented meetings.
Such international-format events undoubtedly contribute to improving the quality of education, fostering experience exchange, and promoting the effective use of modern technologies.
