Koshman T.V. - participant of the International Archaeological Congress "Citadel 1.0"

Senior lecturer of the Department of Archeology and Ethnology T.V. Koshman took part in the International Archaeological Congress "Citadel 1.0" in St. Petersburg.  The congress was organized by the State Museum of the History of St. Petersburg, the Museum of Archeology of St. Petersburg, together with the State Hermitage Museum and the Institute of the History of Material Culture of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The event was dedicated to the study, preservation, use and popularization of fortifications, attended by more than 150 scientists and museum specialists from Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan and other countries.

In her speech, T.V. Koshman highlighted issues related to the construction of fortresses, including the specifics of their construction, communications and other elements of fortification. Participation in the congress allowed not only to present the research results, but also to share experiences with colleagues, as well as discuss modern approaches to the study of fortifications. The presentation materials were prepared in the lobby of the scientific project.
