
ENU became a platform for the C5 international dialogue on digital transformation in education in Central Asia















The Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Philology, at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University successfully held the international dialogue “C5 Cross-Border Dialogue on Digital Transformation in Education.”
The C5 format - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan - reflects a shared regional identity, common educational challenges, and strong potential for academic and professional collaboration. This dialogue was organized for the first time in the C5 format, marking an important step toward strengthening regional cooperation in higher education.
The event brought together young researchers, students, and educators from the C5 countries, creating a platform for meaningful exchange of ideas, experiences, and perspectives on digital transformation and innovation in education.
Special attention was given to the role of digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and modern educational tools in shaping the future of learning. Participants discussed current challenges, opportunities, and practical approaches to integrating digital solutions into the educational process.

The event was moderated by Zhanna Kuzar (PhD, Senior Lecturer), who facilitated the discussion and ensured active engagement among participants.
The dialogue was held within the framework of the Year of Digitalization in Kazakhstan 2026 and was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, highlighting the university’s commitment to innovation, international cooperation, and academic development.
The event demonstrated the importance of regional dialogue and collaboration in addressing contemporary educational challenges and promoting digital transformation in Central Asia.
