
Scientific Activity of Students and Young Researchers: Results of the Physical Culture and Sports Section







On April 13, 2026, within the framework of the XIX International Scientific Conference “Science and Education – 2026”, a meeting of subsection 13.3 “Current Issues, Trends and Prospects for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports” was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
A total of 28 participants took part in the session, including faculty members, master’s students, and undergraduate students. The session was chaired by A.Zh. Saliyeva. The commission also included leading academics and faculty members of the department.
During the meeting, reports covering modern trends in the development of physical culture and sports were presented and discussed. The topics of the research papers were characterized by their relevance and diversity. Particular attention was paid to the following areas:
- implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the training process;
- digitalization and automation of sports officiating;
- development of adaptive physical culture and inclusive sports;
- psychological training of athletes;
- prevention of sports injuries;
- use of VR technologies in education and rehabilitation;
- modern approaches to athlete training in various sports.
Special interest was shown in studies related to adaptive sports, including issues of rehabilitation, psycho-emotional states of Paralympic athletes, and the development of inclusive training programs.
Following the results of the session, the commission members noted the high quality of the presented research, their practical significance, and their compliance with modern scientific and educational standards. Participants were given recommendations for further development of their research work.
Based on the competition results, the winners were determined:
- 1st degree diploma — V. Lepina
- 2nd degree diplomas — A. Zandybay, E. Sarin
- 3rd degree diplomas — K. Mukhanova, S. Dosali, R. Sugoyd
All other participants were awarded certificates for active participation.
The chairperson, A.Zh. Saliyeva, emphasized the importance of involving students in scientific activities and noted that participation in such conferences is an important step in the professional development of future specialists in physical culture and sports.
The event demonstrated the high scientific potential of students and confirmed the relevance of developing research in the field of physical culture and sports.
