
On April 9, 2026, a scientific and practical case championship titled “Standards of the Future: From Idea to Implementation” was held at the Department of "Standardization, Certification, and Metrology"







As part of the Science Decade, a scientific and practical case championship titled “Standards of the Future: From Idea to Implementation” was organized at the Department of "Standardization, Certification, and Metrology" among 1st–3rd year students.
A total of 14 students applied to participate in the event, demonstrating their knowledge and creative thinking. Participants delivered insightful presentations, proposing innovative ideas related to modern technologies, smart systems, green economy, industrial safety, and their standardization.
Based on the results of the championship, the best projects were awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree diplomas. In addition, students who stood out for their creative approach and originality were awarded letters of appreciation. Notably, the winners in the “Creativity” nomination were selected through online voting by student spectators.
The jury panel included:
– Gulmira Konyspayevna Baimurzina — PhD student of the Department of Business Informatics, Bauman Moscow State Technical University;
– Rustem Khanatuly Aimenov — Head of the Astana Department of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology, Ethics Officer;
– Nurbek Daniyaruly Kazbek — Head of the Department of Standardization and Country of Origin of Goods, Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2nd place — 2nd-year student Darina Seksembayeva
3rd place — 1st-year student Aru Amantayeva
This event significantly contributed to increasing students’ professional interest and provided a valuable platform for developing their scientific potential.
