Current architectural trends discussed at a subsection within the framework of the conference “ǴYLYM JÁNE BІLІM – 2026”

On April 13, 2026, the Department of Architecture hosted a meeting of Subsection 11.3 “Architecture in the Global World: Trends and Prospects for Development” as part of the XXI International Scientific Conference “ǴYLYM JÁNE BІLІM – 2026”.

During the session, 73 scientific papers were presented and discussed, focusing on the analysis of current trends and future prospects in architecture in the context of globalization. Attention was given to supporting and developing the creative potential of young researchers, master’s students, and undergraduate students. The event gained additional significance as it coincided with the 30th anniversary of the university.

The final stage of the subsection meeting was the summary of results followed by the awarding ceremony for students and master’s students whose research works were highly appreciated by the commission members.

The following participants were awarded:

 

I Degree Diploma:

Si Wang Xiang A.A. (L.N. Gumilyov ENU, 5th-year student) – for the paper «Геоинформационная оценка жилых районов Астаны на соответствие концепции «15-минутного города». Scientific supervisor – Toyshiyeva A.A.

 

II Degree Diploma:

Sabyrova Zh.N. (L.N. Gumilyov ENU, 2nd-year student) – for the paper «Түзу сызықты жазылмайтын беттердің архитектурада қолданылуы». Scientific supervisor – Kusebayev U.K.

Yun D.E. (L.N. Gumilyov ENU, 1st-year master’s student) – for the paper «Архитектурная школа будущего: новые форматы образовательных пространств в условиях цифровой трансформации». Scientific supervisor – Chekayeva R.U.
