ENU strengthens its development strategy with the support of Times Higher Education

As part of the strategic session “ENU: NEW STRATEGY,” a strategic workshop was held with the participation of an international consultant from Times Higher Education.
The purpose of the workshop was to assess the university’s current position based on the indicators of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (WUR), as well as to collect expert insights and analytical data to support the development of recommendations for the university’s key areas of development.
The workshop brought together representatives of the university’s key stakeholder groups, including senior leadership (vice-rectors, heads of departments and structural units), academic and research staff, as well as employees of structural divisions.
During the workshop, THE consultant Emmy Rose presented an analysis of the university’s position in the WUR rankings, outlined the key factors influencing these results, and conducted a comparative analysis with peer institutions. Particular attention was given to explaining the ranking methodology, indicator structure, and data sources used in the evaluation process.
A central element of the workshop was the organization of focus groups, which facilitated the collection of expert insights aimed at identifying the university’s competitive advantages and defining its priority areas for development.
The workshop was prepared and coordinated by the Department of Strategic Development as part of the process of developing ENU’s new Development Strategy.
Background: Times Higher Education is one of the world’s leading organizations in higher education analytics and global rankings. THE methodologies are widely used by universities worldwide to assess competitiveness and enhance strategic management.
