ENU hosted the Gemini Academy training course

The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted the Gemini Academy training course, dedicated to one of the key tools of generative artificial intelligence - Gemini.
The opening remarks were delivered by Member of the Management Board - Vice-Rector for Digitalization - Chief Digital Officer Gulmira Bekmanova. In her speech, she emphasized that the implementation of Google Workspace for Education and the organization of such training courses are important steps toward transforming ENU into an AI-Enabled University, where artificial intelligence becomes an integral part of the educational environment.
Within the framework of the signed memorandum between the university and representatives of Google, the Google Workspace for Education program is being implemented at the university. Corporate access to Google services has been provided to all faculty members, staff, and students, expanding opportunities for organizing the educational process, collaboration, and the use of modern digital tools in academic and professional activities.
During the course, participants explored the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence technologies in education, as well as practical tools for preparing educational materials, working with texts, creating presentations, and providing feedback to students. Special attention was given to prompt engineering, as well as to the NotebookLM tool, which enables efficient analysis, structuring, and use of personal teaching materials.
The training was conducted by Begayym Murat, Head of Training and Methodology at STEM Solutions, a certified Google specialist.
After April 27, similar training is planned to be organized for students, which will help ensure a unified level of digital competencies within the academic environment.
For faculty, staff, and students who have not yet received corporate access to Google services, instructions are available at the following link:
