The Republican Subject Olympiad in “Translation Studies” held at ENU

The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted the Republican Subject Olympiad among learners of higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the educational program “Translation Studies” (English section, Russian language).

A total of 35 students from various universities across the country took part in the second round of the Olympiad, demonstrating a high level of professional training, English language proficiency, and translation competence.

The competition was held in two stages, including tasks in written and oral translation, as well as an assessment of theoretical knowledge. The Olympiad served as an important platform for exchanging experience, developing professional skills, and strengthening academic cooperation among universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University continues to actively support initiatives aimed at advancing translation education and training highly qualified specialists.
