International video competition on German language

To celebrate our university's anniversary, associate professors of the Department of Foreign Languages ​​of the Faculty of Philology, Gulden Tussupova and Aiman ​​Aubakirova, timed the participation of first-year German language groups ("Kazakh Language and Literature" and "Nuclear Physics") in an international video competition initiated by the Goethe Institute (Germany). In the 2025-2026 academic year, students studying at the Department of Foreign Languages ​​expressed their desire to learn German, which is why German language groups have been opened at the department since this academic year. In five open groups, Russian and Kazakh, foreign students learn German from the elementary level. There are also students who mastered the language during their studies and won prizes at international Olympiads. Students learn not only the language itself, but also the culture and traditions of German-speaking countries. When the Goethe Institute announced the international video contest "We cook in German", our students will present traditional Kazakh recipes.
